We are simply raising money for a cancer cure. All labor is donated with a loving heart. Previously worn sweaters are recycled into new & beautiful pairs of warm, unique homemade mittens. As we create each pair of homemade mittens, we know that we are aiming for a worthwhile and necessary goal....a world free from cancer.
Most of the mittens are made from recycled wool sweaters, so your hands will be as warm as your heart. They are lined with fleece, and they feel super soft inside. These homemade mittens are machine washable. To get the longest life out of them, wash them in delicate.
Mittens cost $25 per pair. The proceeds go to the Arthur James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The doctors and nurses at this hospital have saved my life, and I am eternally grateful. The name of the company is based upon my feelings towards those whom I thank for being here to enjoy my children and husband for another day. It is appropriately named, "Grateful Heart Design."

2.) How many pairs do you want?
3.) What colors do you like?
4.) Look at the "product" page. Do you like any of the previously sold mittens? Even though all of these gloves have been sold and each pair is individual, this will give me a "feel" for what you are looking for.
5.) Send your money. $25/pair. Shipping costs $3.50 per pair of mittens. If you live in Columbus, Ohio and want to pick up your mittens, please indicate this when you order.
